Ms. Shah is the President of her family’s business, Chem-Impex—a high-purity laboratory chemicals distributor. She has a background in leadership roles at The Spice House, Hyde Park Angels, and Goldman Sachs. Ms. Shah teaches at Chicago Booth and mentors University of Chicago students as a Polsky Center Entrepreneur in Residence, focusing on family business and long-term opera-tions. Ms. Shah holds a dual-degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Chicago Booth. She was Family Business Magazine’s named one of Transformational Women in Business in 2023.
